Go paperless, stay ahead of compliance. Uncover your exact savings with eCMR.

Discover your exact gains before digital consignment notes become the industry standard.

Staying ahead of upcoming EU regulations is no longer optional—and it’s also an opportunity to drive significant savings. The EU estimates that transitioning to eFTI/eCMR will save the industry roughly €1 billion annually by eliminating 102 million hours currently wasted on paper-based administration. With the Sustainable Mobility Law making Documento de Control Administrativo (DCA) mandatory in Spain by 5th October 2026 – and the EU-wide mandate for authorities to accept electronic transport records starting July 2027 – the shift to paperless is now a strategic necessity for European shippers.

The move to eCMR is about more than just checking a regulatory box. It’s a shift that unlocks immediate operational savings and total visibility for all parties across your entire supply chain. Discover your exact savings with our calculator, powered by the benchmarks from independent industry research.

How does the calculator work?

The calculator is powered by independent industry research.

We analyze your specific shipment volume against two core benchmarks:

  • €4.55 baseline: The verified average cost reduction per document for standard international shipping.

  • €13,00 high-potential savings: The maximum achievable savings in complex, high-volume logistics environments.

To provide a realistic ROI, our calculator determines the specific share of savings for the shipper based on these total supply-chain benchmarks.

Find out exactly how much time and money you can save for your entire supply chain and carriers in just 60 seconds with our calculator.

What is eCMR?

eCMR is the digitalisation of the traditional, paper-based CMR, or transport consignment note.

Since 2008, the CMR Convention has allowed for CMR to be managed digitally, recognising that less paperwork and more streamlined data entry would create cost savings and enable faster problem-solving.

Why eCMR Now?

  • Regulatory peace of mind: Ensure your entire supply chain is pre-compliant for the 2026 Spanish mandate and 2027 EU requirements. Eliminate the risk of non-compliance fines.

  • Enhanced operational efficiency: reduced paperwork, data entry, and document loss, leading to cost savings and increased profitability.

  • Improved visibility and real-time tracking: greater transparency and reduced handling time.

  • Anywhere, anytime access: drivers can manage transport documents on the go, providing flexibility and real-time updates to customers.
